Plant Description

Betel Leaf Oil is extracted from the leaves of Piper betle, a tropical climbing plant belonging to the Piperaceae family. The plant is widely cultivated throughout Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, India, Indonesia and Thailand, where betel leaves have been traditionally valued for centuries.

The betel plant is an evergreen perennial vine with glossy, heart-shaped leaves and a characteristic spicy fragrance. The leaves contain naturally occurring aromatic compounds that give the plant its distinctive warm and refreshing scent.
